Job description

The Challenge

Under the supervision of our Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for  the delivery of design requirements for a wide-range of industries and sectors, from Healthcare to Real Estate to Technology, all the way to corporate requirements, such as Human Capital and Finance.

You will apply and develop a wide range of skillset to accommodate simple requests such as image resizing to logo development to production of collateral, etc., with a high focus on delivery quality and timely solutions to our internal customers.

Role & Responsibilities:

The role will report to the Senior Designer within the Brand & Marketing Team. You will be working on graphic design projects as required by the Mubadala Business Groups as and when they are briefed. These projects will range in size and skillsets from small basic resizing projects to more in depth design requirements. The Senior Designer within Group Communications will oversee work load and allocate jobs to chosen candidate.

• Some of the types of design jobs that will need to be worked on are:
• Presentation refinement/enhancement
• Infographic developments
• Support of branding and theme development (including names and brand marks as required)
• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
• Develop corporate presentations
• Collateral development (brochures etc.)
• Create Email Communications tools HTMLs
• Update corporate guidelines regularly
• Create artwork files for various corporate collaterals
• Resizing of images, Artworking

Desired Skills and Experience

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Ability to work with design programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash
• Ability to both design and also do basic art working jobs. Must have 3+ years of experience with a university qualification in Graphic Design or similar
• Experience in the UAE is a must
• Ideal candidate would have English & Arabic design capabilities
• Customer focused attitude with ability to quickly understand briefs coming from business units and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to develop printing specifications for jobs and experience working with print and production companies to brief them on requirements
• Ability to turn things around quickly and work under pressure, ability to multitask and prioritize work that has tight deadlines
• Ability to present work to internal client and share rationale behind the designs/creative
• Good organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team as required
