Job description

Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO
including: managing his calendar of appointments; taking care of emails
with prompt responses,preparing expense reports; correspondence ;
arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling
documents for travel-related meetings.
· Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
· Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO’s Office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
· Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CEO updated.
· Screening the CEO's emails, telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
· Dealing with email, faxes and post.
· Maintaining paper and electronic filing systems for records for the CEO.
· International and national travel arrangements for the CEO including meeting arrangements.
· Meet and greet visitors for the CEO.
· Performs all additional tasks required by management in relation to the job.
· Ensure that standards and confidentiality required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times.
