Key Accountabilities

Production of general arrangement and reinforcement CAD work on Geotechnical, Civil and Structural projects.
Works with the engineer as a member of a design team to ensure that designs & specifications are accurately translated to drawings and delivered in a timely and professional manner to our clients and are of the highest quality.
Comply with relevant office standards and safety, legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.
Ability to make appropriate judgements and decisions and exercise initiative.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

An expert AutoCAD, Civil 3D AutoCAD user
At least 5 years’ experience in a civil/structural engineering practice environment on a mixture of civil and building projects, with a proven track record of producing high quality, accurate, drawing work to tight deadlines.
Experience of RC detailing and a competent user of an R.C. detailing packages (Multi-RC would be an advantage, but CADS RC or equivalent is also desirable).
A competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in preparation of Construction Issue civil or structural engineering drawings/packages
Can adhere to the Company CAD Standards, Document Control Procedures, Quality Management Systems, and Health and Safety Regulations
Competent in the management of drawing data in terms of information provided by Clients, drawing records and registers.
Management of Drawings Revisions and an ability to adapt to project requirements in a flexible manner.
Experience of visiting project sites to check accuracy of contractor work, or to carry out survey work would be an advantage.
Experience of MSE Wall Drawing Packages is desirable.
Experience in supervision/direction of junior CAD Technicians is desirable
