Job description
The
Travel Manager is responsible for providing specialized, professional
and competitive travel products to meet the demands of the travel
market, which includes online bookings and tailor-made trips. The
incumbent will provide high standard of quality and service with a
strong sales development strategy and customer-service focus.

- Promote and market the business: start-up a new Travel Department.
- Source products and destinations to meet consumer demands for sustainable tourism.
- Liaise with travel partners, including airlines and travel agents, to manage bookings.
- Manage the budget and maintain statistical/financial records.
- Manage, deliver, monitor and improve team KPIs.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven track of 8 years of experience in the Travel Industry, out of which 3 years managing a ticketing department.
- Knowledge of GDS systems, fares & ticketing, reissue, revalidation, refunds & BSP (Billing & Settlement Plan) related knowledge and basic accounting practices. Knowledge of domestic & international travel trends, travel and visa restrictions.
- Knowledge of start-up Travel department, including IATA accreditation, is mandatory.
- University degree in Hospitality, Travel or Tourism.
- Computer literate.
- English (Written and Spoken). Other language is an asset.
