Job description
REPORTING TO: Team Leader of Central Inspection Services
DELIVERABLES
1. Capable and committed Inspection Services Senior Engineer:
2. Inspection services works that result in:
• Maximized equipment availability in the assigned plants.
• Appropriate measures to minimize Equipment failures in assigned plants.
• Technically maximize interval between Intrusive Inspections (TA) of equipments.
• Developed & controlled Risk based Inspection Program.
• Developed programs to eliminate chronic and repetitive equipment failures.
• Manage Inspection contracts.
• Technical support to quality jobs during routine maintenance and turnaround activities.
• Accurate Reliability Technical reports and on-stream inspection plans.
3. Continuously improving capabilities, processes, procedures, practices and systems.
MINIMUM CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• University degree in Metallurgy/Mechanical Engineering or extensive experience in Refinery/petrochemical inspections.
• Professional certification in plant inspections is an advantage.
Technical and Business:
• 8 years of experience in refinery/petrochemical plant inspections.
• Knowledge & experience in NDT, Refractory & specialized equipment inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of RBI, RCA and defect elimination.
• Knowledge in Refining/petrochemical process & corrosion is advantage.
• Knowledge of Equipment/piping design and manufacturing standards is required.
Leadership and Interpersonal:
• Demonstrated ability to direct and develop trainees.
• Demonstrated ability to cooperate with and influence peers.
• Demonstrated ability to listen and collaborate with others.
• Ability to describe personal strengths and development needs.
Language:
• English (fluent) required, Arabic is advantageous
