Job description
Primary Purpose of the Job
Provides technical services and support to offshore operations in all electrical engineering discipline matters especially in critical situations where production loss and safety issues are impacted.
Executes assigned electrical engineering dominated Projects carrying out the full range of project related activities starting from design phase followed by Contract administration phase, site erection and finally leading to commissioning and handover to Asset Holder.
Undertakes testing of offshore staff prior to issue of the appropriate level of electrical authorisation certificate for carrying out electrical work.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
EDUCATION
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
Have at least Ten (10) years experience in the field of electrical engineering including maintenance supervision of electrical equipment/systems and in executing brown field Projects in the Petrochemical or similar industry.
SKILLS
Should have exposure and experience in the use of computerized maintenance management systems and have specific knowledge and experiences in engineering standards and codes applicable to his discipline.
