Senior Planner – Turn Around
Oman

Our refineries at Sohar and Muscat, as well as our aromatics and polypropylene production plants in the Sohar complex, provide fuels, chemicals and feedstock to Oman and to the world.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise on Planning, Scheduling, coordinating and monitoring of all regular, PM and shutdown maintenance works by optimizing cost and resources
• Analyze maintenance performance and initiate improvement to proactive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment performance.
• Monitor and guide Planners to prepare maintenance plans, and analyze backlogs, schedule compliance and recommend solutions for delays, balance workload , optimize resources utilization.
• Initiate the process of procurement and contracting by initiating detailed scope of work and liaising with various departments to ensure availability of resources for planned jobs.
• Initiate and follow up material requisitions with respective functions for all types of maintenance.
• Asset management and update master plan in SAP.
• Prepare reports and feedback on equipment performance, monitor compliance to implemented works process, systems for optimum availabilities of the plant.
Job Requirements:
• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry with a minimum of 5 years as an engineering in maintenance planning
• Good experience in Planning, Scheduling of routine maintenance and shutdown related jobs.
• Familiar with budgeting and cost control Knowledge in CMMS, MS project & MS application Expert in SAP- PM module
