ABOUT THE JOB

Our Client is one of the leading engineering and construction companies, working on the major projects in energy industry worldwide. This is a 3 year contract with a possibility to continue employment due to on-going new projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all HSE aspects at construction site ensuring regulatory compliance with local regulatory requirements by company employees and subcontractors.
• Prepare site specific HSE plan, Accident Prevention Plan and other necessary documentation.
• Coordinate various HSE assessments and analyses as required by certification or regulatory entities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections/audits.
• Supervise the implementation of HSE programs, including site-based HSE orientation, recognition programs.
• Provide guidance to business lines and project management in relation to client requirements and regulations.
• Manage HSE budget, staffing requirements.
• Actively promote safety culture.

BACKGROUND

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 8+ years of international experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Excellent knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Relevant HSE certifications is a must.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels inside and outside of the company.
• Strong ability to learn quickly and apply local regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
