Band is looking for a smart and ambitious Account Director with 5 or more years’ experience in an integrated marketing agency environment to help to further shape and drive the growth of the agency across MEA region, working on multiple B2B financial services and technology clients across geographical borders. Band has head offices in Singapore and Hong Kong handling MNC clients across APMEA and delivering campaigns that are executed globally.

You are a proven business builder, you have a can-do attitude and are motivated. You present yourself confidently, and you are skilled at building trusting relationships with your multinational clients, team members and wider network. You are passionate about driving and growing clients business, with a keen eye for strategy in addition to having experience in job management processes, briefing creative and managing the remote delivery of jobs both in print and digital environments.

Based in Dubai you will be our eyes and ears on the ground and will be based within our partner agency office.  You will represent Band across MEA looking after Dubai, Middle East and Africa clients, working closely with the Band CSD to grow and build the MEA client portfolio. You will be independent and self-managerial needing to be able to work remotely with the wider Band HQ team to push through client briefs and projects.  

For the right candidate this is an exciting opportunity to build Band’s business in the Middle East, establish Band’s presence and grow the resources required to fulfil our clients business. 

Desired Skills and Experience

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to confidently communicate with senior clients at executive level.

Candidates must be results-oriented, pro-active, self-motivated and work well autonomously.

Candidates should have a successful track record of delivering large-scale marketing campaigns across geographies and regular travel across MEA markets will be required.

Candidates should be willing to “roll up their sleeves” and get stuck in on the day to day account management of clients in addition to taking a key role in driving strategic work and proposals.

Candidates should have a proven track record in developing and growing both clients and agencies business.

In addition, you should ideally demonstrate:

B2B experience – ideally of technology and/or FSI sectors.

MEA market experience – ideally some previous experience handling clients across this region.

Most importantly, you must have passion to build the business across the region and deliver high quality work and client servicing to your clients.
