Job description

  • Plan, execute & follow up an annual marketing activities & projects for the assigned brands which helps in implementing the long term strategic plan formulated by the marketing head
  • Execute & arrange the full mix of medical marketing activities, including detailing, conferences & standalone meetings.
  • Drive brand activations in accordance to key strategic campaigns communicated from the marketing head. Drive consumer marketing activation across each regional market, ensuring excellent & timely execution of regional plans.
  • Analyze, forecast and assess product performance for assigned brands so as to highlight potential threats and opportunities.
  • Assist Middle East Marketing Head in the preparation of annual marketing plans and budget preparations
  • Regularly give feedback to senior management on competitor activities and analysis of market trends for assigned brands.
  • Monitor the purchasing service provided by platform to ensure purchase orders are in place efficiently to fulfill the company’s purchasing needs and liaising with other departments as appropriate.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Key opinion leaders & develop Bayer brands advocates.
  • Track P&I expenses and ensure alignment with budget allocation settled by Marketing head
  • Ensure all activities are internally and externally compliant
  • Regular Visits to all countries in the ME to follow up on Markets Dynamics and Developments

Desired Skills and Experience

Education
  • A University degree in Medical or Scientific Studies or an equivalent discipline, Business background is a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience in the Sales and Marketing functions within Multinationals in the Middle East
  • Diversified experience in different countries in the Middle East is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to Consumer Marketing & FMCG is a plus.
Competencies
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to influence others
  • Strong communication skills; excellent wriiten and verbal skills in English; Arabic preferred.
  • Ability to work in high pressure environment; results & performance driven
  • Working knowledge of MS Office is required
