Job description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of promotional materials and activities designed to profitably enhance and expand the customer / client experience. He / She will oversee approximately 4 direct reports and interact frequently with all employees and will work closely with Sales and Leasing team and Client Service Centre team to formulate timely, value added market analysis and reports and also share the responsibility of planning, organizing and executing external promotional events (e.g. open house, trade shows) with the other key managers involved.


PRIncipal accountabilities

  • Promotional support to the revenue teams, including report generation and analysis

  • Define and implement the policies, processes and procedures for the department in line with the Company’s vision

  • Design, implement and review public relations programs and where necessary act as the contact person for PR activities for the company including participation and setting up trade shows, road shows or similar events

  • Initiate research programs for better consumer, customer and internal understanding of the business including assessment of media content, websites, etc. and recommend programs to drive efficiencies

  • Manage the marketing resources and budget in the most efficient and effective way including negotiating with the vendors/suppliers to ensure best results with time and cost efficiency. Allocate available resources in compliance with business priorities

  • Manage comprehensive brand marketing including online / website presence

  • Review and appraise staff in a timely manner to encourage employees to effectively implement plans and operate with maximum efficiency

  • Frequent updates to the General Manager and Management Team

  • Ensure quality and quantity of leads improve and is tied to the annual marketing plan and budget.

  • Should be well versed with online marketing platforms and promote social media enhancement.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Masters degree specializing in Marketing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role; alternatively, bachelor degree specializing in marketing with 7 to 10 years of progressive career growth
  • Requires above average computer literacy (MS Office, Internet, Database Software, etc.)
  • Experience in the Property / Real Estate Sector preferred
  • Previous embedded work experience within the territory of responsibility 
  • Meticulous English language skills; Arabic an advantage
  • Natural networker, active in numerous professional associations
  • Creative and analytical, while possessing personal drive and initiative
  • Highly self-confident presentation skills; able to interact and make presentations to all levels of management
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the team along with effective succession planning at all times
