Job description

  • Manage sourcing for  CAPEX and OPEX items
  • Prepare and Conduct RFQ/RFPs
  • Produce cost/technical/product comparison
  • Work closely with Vendor Management Unit and Legal Department to generate  agreement for the awarded supplier
  • Conduct assessment on supply market for all CAPEX/OPEX items
  • Assess the competitiveness on the same product/ technology/ demand
  • Conduct negotiation together with Vendor Management Unit with suppliers on pricing, product, service level and value added service


Desired Skills and Experience

  • MUST be local citizen (Malaysian)
  • Degree holder in any disciplines
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision as well as the occasional long hours
  • Team player, able to communicate effectively and good interpersonal skills
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of strategic sourcing 
  • Strong knowledge in IT and Non IT equipment’s demand, market and supply management
  • Knowledge of sourcing best practices and supplier’s negotiation
  • Demonstrates understanding of sourcing concepts, processes and implementation techniques
  • Strong experience in completing RFP/ RFQ
  • Ability to prepare and effectively lead negotiation sessions
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and lead discussions
  • High personal integrity
  • Ability to manage/supervise junior team member
