Job Description :
Technical Product Specialist, Clinical Diagnostics, MENA
Location: Dubai
Language requitrements: English required. Arabic preferred.
Reporting to Senior Area Manager, MENA and Marketing Manger New Emerging Markets
Responsibilities:
- Technical liaison between customer base and business unit
- Technical sales calls
- First line technical product support for CDD products
- Support of general sales account managers in maintaining and growing customer base
- Product training
- Product forecasting and product lot control working with logistics and inventory controller
- Product marketing materials – inventory and distribution
- Product marketing liaison with business units
- Answer technical queries received from customers by phone and email. Escalate to the business unit as needed and see through to resolution for customer
- Assist laboratories with setting up, training and ongoing use of CDD analysers
- Assist sales team with customer visits and product promotion and positioning
- Demonstration of all CDD analysers
- Keeping sales team up to date and trained on products. Launch to and train sales on new products as applicable
- Training customers on QC and daily trouble shooting, maintenance etc.
- Customer visits
- Product sales training
- Analyser demonstrations
- Monitor inventory of lot numbers/reservations and supply business unit with forecasts for new product lot builds as requested
- Maintain up to date inventory of all sales and marketing materials and distribute internally and externally as needed
- Collect market intelligence regarding competitor activity/products/market needs and feed back to BU marketing
- Monitor market trends and needs and feed back to BU marketing
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Clinical pathology Laboratory background or clinical diagnostics industry - Extensive experience required
- University life sciences degree or Laboratory Pathology qualification to the level of Bsc. Honour
