Job Description
The Analytics Executive plays a strategic role to help grow Accenture’s practice in Middle East marketplace. It is a client-facing role that interprets, translates, and synthesizes client requirements into a solution that can be configured from a standard or highly-customized set of Accenture offerings. The Analytics Executive operates as a single point of leadership contact or as part of a team (on larger engagements with multiple Executives) accountable from Stage 0 (pre-engagement) to deal closure while leading delivery and/or the transition to the service fulfillment organization(s).
This position requires multiple dimensions of demonstrated experience:
Strategy and Thought Leadership – define strategies, develop unique thought propositions, and communicate the power of data and analytics to senior client executives. You will identify opportunities to help educate our clients on the performance achievement of data and analytics, research the latest market trends affecting their industry, and formulate a relevant point-of-view to position our services.
Data and Analytics Leadership – define advanced analytical use-cases to deliver solutions that solve the client’s business challenge. You will capture client requirements, collaboratively design solutions, and then lead delivery teams to help execute your designs.
Analytics Platform Leadership – research and bring expertise around the latest combination of best-in-class data and analytics technologies in the marketplace. Create strong relationships with vendors at the client account and enable the selection of appropriate technology tools at the client.
Key Responsibilities for the Analytics Executive include, but are not limited to:
- General Management - Lead and deliver large scale, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative analytical solutions for large companies
- Design, implement and oversee the quality of deliverables produced by our service professionals
- Manage and evaluate the team with day-to-day relationships at the client-site to ensure exceptional performance
- Pursuits and Business Development - Initiate and participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities
- Manage the sales team and relative Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to the sales process
- Lead communication/ collaboration with the respective delivery organization(s)
- Build a diverse network of clients in Middle East within main cross industries target client accounts
- Strategy & Thought Leadership - Enhance Accenture’s point-of-view in the marketplace through the original creation of published whitepapers, speaking engagements, conference leadership and external eminence.
- Contribute to the local Analytics Practice library and play a proactive role in knowledge sharing across teams and practices
- Solution Architecture - Create storyboards, capture client requirements, and conduct executive workshops to illustrate capabilities
- Design solutions and architectures to meet the client’s business performance requirements
- Align final solution architecture to technical specifications with the technical and delivery team
- Financials and Resourcing - Develop business cases and financial scenarios across various initiatives and projects
- Forecast and manage Accenture internal Business Development spend estimates, schedule, work plan, resource/sourcing plan, and reporting
- Understanding and clearly define the correct inputs required to create cost estimates
- Work with national resourcing teams to staff your projects
Desired Skills and Experience:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree required in a related field; strong preference for fields of study in the computer science, engineering, economics, data science and statistics
- 12+ years of increasing leadership experience in management consulting or industry
- 5+ years of Analytics delivery experience
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Cassandra, Hive, Pig, Impala, Parquet, etc.) and large Data Warehouse implementation (Oracle, Teradata, GreenPlum, SAP Hana, Netezza TF)
 - Experience in Reporting architectures (SAS, MicroStrategy, Oracle, SAP BO, Pentaho, Tableau and Cognos)
 - Experience with predictive analytics tools (R, SAS, SPSS, MATLAB)
- Experience in CRM Modeling, Analytics & Campaign Execution (SAS, Unica, Teradata, Oracle)
 - Expertise with the Microsoft Office suite (including advanced Excel skills with embedded Pivot Tables & Macros; advanced PowerPoint usage for storyboard design and presentation)
- Proved Cross Industries acumen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer Analytics
- Ability to bring industry leading expertise and point-of-view on customer analytics, CRM, marketing, and customer data platform
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and predictive modeling. (e.g., AI neural networks, multi-scalar dimensional models, logistic regression techniques, machine-based learning, etc.)
- Business Development
- Experience in professional services negotiations, deal shaping, and pricing
- Enthusiasm in executing the end-to-end sales cycle while performing work within an account
- Enthusiasm in supporting peers in designing and authoring proposals and RFPs
- Education and Experience
- Masters degree preferred in computer science, engineering, economics, data science and statistics
- Experience at a Big 4 Consulting company preferred
