IT Business Analyst / Bilingual French&English Mandatory

Louis Dreyfus Commodities accelerates the implementation of its systems
(front to back office systems), we are looking for an experienced
Business Analyst to be responsible for the analysis related to the
regional rollout projects and user support of the related applications
(including but not limited to AX, KTP, Notilus and HR solutions)
Your principal objectives will be to analyse the business/finance/HR requirements, provide solutions as per the local requirements and the LDC global target, support the business in defining processes, execute the project as per the defined plan, facilitate project and business changes, pro-actively track risks, issues, and lessons learnt, support the users for implemented solutions.
The Business Analyst can also lead and manage smaller projects.
You will work closely with the Regional Project Manager, the local users and stakeholders; interact with third-party vendors.
- Be responsible for the business analysis in coordination with the other business analysts for each project. Main tasks include:
- Once migrated, the responsibilities will be to ensure that the users are supported and can manage efficiently their day-to-day activities
The Business Analyst will have to travel throughout Africa as required (between 25% to 50% during project peaks)

- Be responsible for the business analysis in coordination with the other business analysts for each project. Main tasks include:
- Gather users requirements and understand the business / functions impacted by the project
- Document processes (AS-IS and TO-BE)
- Identify systems, processes gaps and propose solutions
- Redact specifications in case of developments needs
- Be the specialist of the system functionalities to be able to recommend solutions and improvements
- Test the solution and organize User Acceptance Testing (document tests cases and results)
- Train the key users and the users
- Redact or adapt existing user manuals
- Migrate the data from previous system to the new one
- Trouble shoot issues and provide user support post-implementation
- Escalate risks and issues to Project Manager
- Support the PM throughout the project (defining scope, estimating resources requirements, timelines etc)
- Once migrated, the responsibilities will be to ensure that the users are supported and can manage efficiently their day-to-day activities
The Business Analyst will have to travel throughout Africa as required (between 25% to 50% during project peaks)
Desired Skills and Experience
- Have at least 5 years working experience in corporate IT / finance environments
- French and English mandatory
- Have proven track record in participating in multiple large-scale system implementation projects
- AX and KTP experience a strong advantage
- Must have corporate finance experience
- Ability to work in fast-paced, reactive, and challenging trading environments
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work with virtual teams (good phone and video conference call skills)
- Strong analytical skills with a hands-on and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Good Microsoft Visio and Excel skills
- Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
