Job description

For our office based in Dubai (UAE), the main role of this position is to ensure an exceptional
customer experience by delivering dynamic, pro-active and dedicated sales and service support. This
is focussed in the disciplines of customer enquiry processing, sales and service work administration
and order processing, while working closely with our sales team, our manufacturing divisions and
internal departments. You will work closely with Middle Eastern and African customers and
distributors as well as some of our EMEA channel partners.  


General
  • Day-to-day customer support for enquiries over telephone and e-mails
  • Monitor the sales and service backlog, troubleshoot and take necessary actions
  • Escalate issues to relevant internal departments and/or managers
  • Keep customers and distributors informed on status of their orders

Sales & Service Support Coordination
  • Work closely with your designated countries/channels to provide quick and efficient support for the sales and service activities (Quote preparation, order processing and invoicing in multiple currencies, deliveries progressing, troubleshooting)
  • Purchase Order generation and entry onto the Manufacturing Divisions and proactively follow-up with Japan, USA, Denmark or any other suppliers as needed
  • Carry out export and credit management control checks and ensure prompt resolution of queries
  • Facilitate cash against documents and letter of credit documentation presentation
  • Update the CRM tool as required
  • Provide back-up support for other territories during colleagues ‘absence

  • Sales minded
  • Experience with international/multicultural business environment in the Middle East and/or Africa
  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Fluent English skills
  • Numerate and accurate

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
