Senior Commercial Advisor (Upstream Hydrocarbon)

These include establishing a balance between reserves and production, the generation of advanced technological innovations and the provision of clean energy for Qatar and for the world.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 12 years of experience in the upstream oil & gas industry with a good handle on key commercial drivers and sensitivities in the energy industry, and familiarity with the hydrocarbon value chain from reservoir, to production, transportation, storage and marketing
Core skills in upstream oil and gas commercial and business development
Projects/operations experience is preferable
Extensive experience in project economic evaluation
Expert skills in structuring, drafting and negotiating standard oil & gas industry agreements such as tax/royalty concession agreements, joint venture and shareholder agreements, production sharing contracts, facilities sharing agreements, products sales & purchase agreements, etc
Broad knowledge of global energy markets/ prices, legal aspects and commercial practices governing the international oil & gas industry
Good knowledge of industry best practises in costs and production allocation systems in use in the value chain of the oil and gas industry
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in technical and business languages are a must
