Senior Marketing Manager, Pricing Strategy

The LinkedIn Pricing Strategy team is looking for a star performer to help accelerate growth and improve go-to-market strategy across our largest businesses: Talent Solutions, Premium Subscriptions, Marketing Solutions, and Sales Solutions ($2B+ in revenue). The Manager will collaborate with leaders in our marketing, sales, and product organizations to help craft new business models, define monetization strategies for new offerings, optimize packaging & pricing for existing offers, and develop global processes to ensure successful pricing execution. Role Overview:
  • Identify & prioritize opportunities for driving acquisition, revenue, and profit growth
  • Develop monetization strategies & help determine go-to-market strategy for new offerings
  • Evolve pricing models to better align with customer value & success
  • Drive packaging improvements within and across product lines
  • Optimize price levels based on value/willingness-to-pay, competition, and go-to-market strategy
  • Develop process foundations to improve price governance, execution, market validation, & decision making
  • Measure and track pricing KPIs to enable continuous improvements
Responsibilities
  • Conduct hypothesis-driven analyses to identify and quantify pricing opportunities
  • Scope, structure, and execute upon strategic pricing initiatives to accelerate business growth
    • Build analytical models to inform and influence pricing strategy
    • Drive voice of customer interviews and large-scale quantitative customer research
    • Work with the Pricing, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop and refine solutions, build consensus, and steer senior-level decision making
    • Design testing and implementation plans to support global rollout of new packaging and pricing initiatives
  • Communicate key insights to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders
    • Extract and synthesize key results and prioritize for communication
    • Transform findings into actionable recommendations
Basic Qualifications 
  • 5-10 years of experience in relevant consulting, marketing, or business strategy roles
  • Experience using data-driven analyses to solve large, complex business problems and quantify business opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with and inspire cross-functional, international teams
  • Comfort with statistical modeling and/or SQL a plus
  • Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using customer insight to drive strategic decisions
  • Intellectually curious. Strategic and creative problem-solver who loves to tackle complex challenges
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, "get it done" entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience optimizing packaging & pricing for internet / SaaS / Software businesses a strong plus
  • MBA from top-tier school a plus
