Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a client facing Systems Administrator /Network Administrator who will be onsite managing small to medium LAN/WAN environments. This position offers the opportunity to interact with a variety of network environments with multiple responsibilities and challenges. Our clients will rely on you for your expertise and innovative solutions, network and systems administration, cloud strategies, disaster recovery initiatives, infrastructure design and deployments, along with your ability to be their Technical Advisor. You will be an integral part of a team that is quickly becoming the most respected and well recognized Managed Services provider. Your Initiatives will include:
- Act as a customer facing systems consultant, technical advisor and onsite resource
- Be our clients' technology advocate to identify technical opportunities for additional services
- Manage customer on boarding requirements
- Act as technical escalation point of managed customers
- Automate processes to improve efficiencies
- Configure and utilize monitoring tools to ensure high uptime
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills & Requirements:
- 3-7+ years' experience in providing server/desktop support in a Microsoft environment.
- Candidate must demonstrate experience with Windows 2003/2008/2012 servers, Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013, Windows XP/7/8 and Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2013. Experience in other Microsoft applications is a huge plus.
