This position sits in the Global Brand Marketing team that is responsible for driving reach and engagement with LinkedIn's audience of 300M+ members and customers. The successful candidate is equal parts strategic and creative and has a history of being a change agent with a winning track record for working across teams to achieve greatness.
This position is based in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Execute on brand strategies that clearly embody the vision and mission for LinkedIn
- Execute consumer-facing campaigns that communicate our narrative and deepen brand engagement
- Communicate a uniquely ownable message that reinforces LinkedIn's brand identity and value proposition
- Leverage member insights to shape brand strategy and execution
- Lead effectively across functions, products and global regions
- Manage external agency relationships and projects
- Provide timely and consistent communication of brand activity to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
- Define and develop measures to track brand performance and campaign effectiveness
- Drive innovation and champion a willingness to be at the cutting edge of marketing
- Measure impact and optimization of marketing efforts across channels; communicate results and share best practices broadly
- BA or BS degree; advanced degree is a plus
- A seasoned marketer with at least 10 years of experience doing related work in technology, corporate brand management or brand strategy consulting

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Global brand marketing and/or agency experience a plus
- Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop a team of marketers
- Experience working with brand marketing strategy and development
- Strong results orientation in dynamic, high-growth, fast paced environments with proven track record of delivering on projects with tight deadlines and cross-functional dependencies
- Expertise in working cross-functionally and influencing across boundaries
- Conversant in multiple marketing channels across digital and traditional media
- Experience working with agencies, developing creative briefs and producing winning creative expression
- Strong analytical skills and proven record of measuring and analyzing results
- Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters
- You're a people person who thrives in highly matrixed environments and is equally comfortable working with internal subject matter experts, external partners and customers.
- You're wired to always think globally. You may even have been heard to utter phrases like "That won't work in India" or "I think this will totally resonate in the Nordics"
- Ideally you're a confident public speaker who can develop subject matter expertise while serving as a spokesperson for the business.
