Difference between BOSS and LEADER

Boss
Leader
Boss drives Employees.
Leader coaches Employees.
Boss’s power depends on Authority, till than he has Authority, he is a Boss.
Leader depends on Goodwill, which he earns by his good behave and gestures.
Boss just uses his employees.
Leader knows how to develop them.
Boss takes credit to himself.
Leaders gives appreciation and credit to followers.
Boss commands.
Leader asks.
Boss say GO.
Leader says Let’s Go.
Boss delivers fear in Employees most of the time.
Leader generates Enthusiasm among employees.
Boss says I.
Leader says We.
Boss places blames on Employees for Breakdowns.
Leader fixes the Breakdowns.
Boss just himself knows how it’s done.
Leader shows to his followers how to do that.

  1. Excellent. I think a Boss should have qualities of leader to maintain equilibrium between Bossiness (which is sometimes a "MUST Be" Quality for Administration and Discipline) and Leadership (for directing staff to achieveve goals). (Boss ko itna bhi bura na kaho yaar:) )

    Anyways, well said and i would like to be more Leader and less boss. :)
