MARKET ALERT: Stocks slide, Dow falls more than 400 points

The trading week is off to a volatile start after U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May shelved a key Brexit vote. The major U.S. stock averages, already compromised by shaky trade relations between the U.S. and China, fell more than 1 percent each, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average on track to enter correction territory.
