MARKETS ALERT: US stocks trade cautiously ahead of Powell and amid Iran tensions

Stocks traded cautiously on Tuesday after U.S. Iranian sanctions drew a sharp rebuke from the Islamic Republic on Tuesday with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani calling the economic crackdown "outrageous and idiotic." Investors will also hear from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell at 1 p.m. ET.
